Dr. O'Shaughnessy will reintroduce us to King George III, his prime ministers, and his generals, and explore how they failed to understand and cope with the crises of the Revolutionary era.
Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a former professor at UW Oshkosh and has authored several books about the Men Who Lost America.
The Tommy G. Thompson Center for Public Leadership and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh are bringing you this special evening.
The series includes two presentations. The first, The Men Who Lost America, will be held at the Oshkosh Public Museum on Wednesday, September 23, at 5:30 pm.
On Thursday, September 24, at 5:30 pm, the second topic, Thomas Jefferson's Vision for American Public Universities, will be held at UWO's Sage Hall.
