Field Trips
OPM offers field trips to expand classroom learning. Our programs help build strong community citizens for the future through multi-faceted learning experiences. Field trips enhance critical thinking, creativity, innovation, historical awareness, civic literacy, and more.
Our team can tailor experiences to meet the needs of local educators while also ensuring consistency with state standards. We also offer virtual field trip opportunities for middle and high school classrooms.
Classrooms within the Oshkosh Area School District receive free admission on field trips.

Hands-on History Boxes
The Oshkosh Public Museum is excited to offer four themed Hands-on History Boxes designed for grades 3-5. Each kit includes real artifacts, hands-on reproductions, and a lesson plan that brings the Museum right into your classroom!
"Check out" a box for two weeks to use in your classroom, then return it to the Oshkosh Public Museum. Check-outs are free for anyone in the Winnefox Library System.
