The Wisconsin Historical Society’s History Makers Tour is on display at the Oshkosh Public Museum!
From August 3 through November 1, visit the museum grounds to experience the “We Like to Kick Up Our Heels” History Walk, an outdoor display featuring large-scale reproductions of historical images.
This installation explores how communities across Wisconsin come together through dance — from school programs and annual festivals to Tribal Nations and cultural celebrations. Take a step, or two, through Wisconsin’s history of dance as a form of social, cultural, and personal expression.
“We Like To Kick Up Our Heels” History Walk is part of the Wisconsin Historical Society’s History Makers Tour.
