Contemporary Native American cultures and traditions remain vibrant in Wisconsin and beyond. OPM annually features the work of a Native American artist in the Living Cultures section of People of the Waters. These installations include artwork and video that center on each artist's voice.
On display now is Scott Hill, a Citizen of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and a member of the Bear Clan. He is a multi-talented artist, specializing in painting, muralism, and sculpting with clay and stone. Hill's work has been exhibited throughout the United States, and his pieces are housed in collections in Japan, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, Africa, and South America.
The Museum is featuring a large sculpture titled Eagle Catching Trout, 2018.
