The Life and Lace of Mrs. Van
Get to know Susannah Van Valkenburg, known to her inner circle as Mrs. Van, a 19th century woman who served as a Civil War nurse, travelled to Wisconsin as a pioneer, and taught herself fine lacemaking as a child in this exhibit in the Historic Sawyer Home Parlor.
Museum Closed
The Oshkosh Public Museum will be closed on Sunday, September 24 for a special event.

Join us for Tea with Tiffany on Sunday, September 24 from 1-4 PM to learn more about newly unveiled history and the Wisteria Circle. This event, which was originally scheduled in June 2023, will feature afternoon tea by The Howard and an exclusively curated experience of the Historic Sawyer Home.
