Guns 'N' Hoses

Guns N Hoses charity hockey game is a great way for Firefighters and Police Officers in Oshkosh and surrounding communities to get together outside of our normal working hours, have fun competing in a great sport, and raise money for various charities. This is a great family event for all ages with the chance to win a ride on the Zamboni, t-shirt sales with our Guns N Hoses logo, raffle prizes, which for 2010 included a year worth of happy meals from McDonalds Restaurants of Oshkosh and an IPod Nano!! There is also a 50/50 drawing in which the winner usually wins around $400!!

2010 Guns N Hoses charity game was a great success! This year we had the largest attendance and greatest amount raised to date! We had standing room only, estimating the attendance to be 500-600 people. With the combination of t-shirt sales, raffles, and ticket sales, we were able to raise almost $5,000 for The ALS association which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease! We also raised $400 for the Oshkosh YMCA’s Strong Kids program. We plan on making this event bigger and better each year and appreciate your continued support.

The 2011 Guns N Hoses charity hockey game is tentatively scheduled for February 26th, 2011, at the 20th Ave YMCA.
