The Downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District (BID) was created in 1987 to support various elements of the downtown revitalization process. Property owners in the BID are assessed additional funds beyond taxes in order to fund various activities such as event support, a recruitment grant program, marketing and development activities, and beautification activities.
