STATE RESOURCES
State of Wisconsin (http://www.wisconsin.gov) Badger is the State of Wisconsin's information server and a starting point to guide you to the many resources available from Wisconsin state agencies, departments and other governmental branches. It also provides links to information resources at the University of Wisconsin campuses, as well as sources from other states and the federal government.
League of Wisconsin Municipalities (http://www.lwm-info.org/) The League of Wisconsin Municipalities is a not-for-profit association of municipalities. First established in 1898, the League acts as an information clearinghouse, lobbying organization and legal resource for Wisconsin municipalities. The site has links to legislative, legal and internet resources, conferences and meetings sponsored by the League and its publications.
State Bar of Wisconsin (http://www.wisbar.org) The Wisconsin Bar was organized on Jan. 9, 1878, as a voluntary association. After reorganization in 1947, the Wisconsin Bar opened its first full-time staffed office on Dec. 1, 1948, and services to members increased markedly. In June 1956 the Wisconsin Supreme Court ordered the Bar integrated, with membership a condition for the practice of law in Wisconsin.
